Groundwater conditions in the basin are monitored through a network of observation wells and data collection programs coordinated by GSAs and technical consultants. 

Monitoring includes: 

• Groundwater level measurements 
• Basin storage analysis 
• Water quality monitoring 
• Evaluation of potential impacts to interconnected surface waters 

Monitoring data supports annual reporting, periodic evaluations, and future management decisions.
