​​​​​​This is a resource page for information related to the Sacramento Central Groundwater Authority's (SCGA) property-related fee​.

On June 22, 2021 SCGA adopted a per parcel fee and a fee for groundwater use on a per acre-foot basis. The net impact of the annual fee varies based upon the total groundwater use associated with each parcel.

The fees are recovered on a parcel’s property tax statement from the County of Sacramento Treasurer-Tax Collector.

Fee Adoption for Fiscal Year 2022/2023

On June 8, 2022 the SCGA Board will consider adoption of a resolution to set the Fiscal Year 2022/2023 parcel fee and groundwater use fee.
